ADULTS GYMNASTICS

Our Adult gymnastics classes are a great place for those who may have done gymnastics in the past and want to get back to it, or those who have never tried gymnastics before. It provides a safe, challenging and supportive environment to learn new skills.  We also offer a Gentle gymnastics option for the seniors within our community to maintain mobility, flexibility and strength.

Adult Fitness | (16yrs & Up)
Women's Artistic Gymnastics
We offer Adult gymnastic and fitness classes 2-3 times per week at 1 hour each class. The focus of these classes are to build on the skills of the individual and to challenge their current fitness levels with new fitness skills whether it focus on agility, strength, balance, flexibility, tumbling, acrobatic or other skills specific to the sport of gymnastics. These skills all help support the individuals other sporting and fitness goals.

We recommend that those attempting this class should already have some degree of strength, flexibility and coordination – whilst fitness is developed, a reasonable base level of fitness is required to properly participate.

Masters | (18yrs & Up)
Women's Artistic Gymnastics
Our Masters class is available for those who have participated in gymnastics previously and would like to return to the sport as an adult, including the competitive aspect of the sport. These gymnasts meet once per week for a 2 hour class concentrating on Physical conditioning and all fundamental skills of Gymnastics. Later the aspect is on choreography and construction of routines needed for Masters and Veteran competitions . We offer a Masters competition annually for those who wish to showcase their skills and ran the QLD Masters competition in 2019.
FITTER FOR LIFE” or Gentle Gym | (50yrs & Up)
Women's Artistic Gymnastics
Gently Gym as we like to call it in our Club this class is aiming to improve daily activities such as walking upstairs, carrying the shopping, bending down and simply to keep mobile in later years so you can easily do independently your daily tasks. These classes are usually lots of fun while at the same time improve muscular endurance, posture and balance, circulation, increase aerobic fitness and promotes heart health as well as providing social opportunities for the more mature participants. Classes are run twice a week around 9.00/10.00 o clock in the morning.
