About Us
The Gladstone Gymnastic Club, formed in 1977 and incorporated in 1989, is affiliated with the Gymnastic Queensland Association, Inc. (GQ), the State body for gymnastics and the Australian Gymnastic Federation. The Gym Club is a non-profit organisation providing all levels of gymnastics for females and males.
Our Club currently caters for the following disciplines.
- General Gymnastics - non competitive stream which include: Kindergym, Gym Fun, CAD and Display groups.
- Competitive Gymnastics - participation in the National Levels stream in MAG , WAG and Rhythmic Gymnastics. Conditioning is top priority in the competitive stream and PAD (Physical Ability Development) and readiness tests are conducted regularly throughout the year.
All our Coaches are fully accredited and qualified both State and Nationally in the disciplines they have under their direction and also hold current Senior First Aid Certificates which include CPR (or equivalent). Our coaches and judges regularly update their knowledge by attending workshops and courses available both at State and National level.
